Napoli have made a third and final offer for Arsenal linked midfielder Corentin Tolisso, according to French sports daily L’Equipe.

The 21-year-old central midfielder, a product of the Lyon academy, played a key role in their first team plans last season and has managed to attract the attention of a few big wigs in Europe.

Arsenal have been keeping tabs on the young midfielder, but Napoli are the ones who have been doing all the leg work over the last few weeks to snare him away from Lyon this summer.

However, they have already seen two bids for Tolisso rejected by the French club and it has been claimed that they have made a third, but final offer for Tolisso in recent days.

The Serie A giants have slapped in a €23m bid for the player, and are hoping that their final offer will be good enough to convince Lyon to sell Tolisso to them this summer.

Napoli coach Maurizio Sarri is a big fan of the player, and he has managed to convince club president Aurelio De Laurentiis to make a considerable bid for the 21-year-old midfielder.

It remains to be seen whether Lyon finally relent and allow the player, who they have been keen to hold on to, to leave for Napoli in the coming days and months.

Tolisso has a contract until 2020 with the club.
