Juventus target Matteo Darmian has revealed that he is yet to speak with new Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho.

Manchester United snapped up the Italian full-back from Torino last summer and after a bright start to his career in England, Darmian’s performances dipped towards the end of the season.




There have been suggestions that he could be one of the players the new Manchester United boss could shift out this summer, and he is also attracting interest from Italian champions Juventus.

And to add more fuel to speculation, the defender revealed that Mourinho is yet to speak to him about his long term future at Manchester United, leading to more speculation.
 


He was quoted as saying by Fantagazzetta: “Today I am a United player.

"I have a contract and so I think I will continue next season.

"But from Mourinho I have not heard", Darmian added.

Darmian clocked up 39 appearances for Manchester United in his first season at the club, and has a contract until 2019.

He is also an important part of Antonio Conte’s Italian national team and is expected to start against Spain in their European Championship last 16 game next Monday.
