Everton have made an offer of between €7m and €8m to FC Sion for the services of Leo Lacroix, according to Italian daily Gazzetta dello Sport.

Ronald Koeman has steered Everton to the front of the pack for the Sion man, as it is also claimed Stoke City and AC Milan are keen on Lacroix; AC Milan have been in touch with the player's agents, but are yet to make a bid.

The 24-year-old operates as a centre-back and clocked up a total of 29 appearances for Sion in the recently concluced campaign.

He came up against Premier League opposition in the Europa League when Sion took on Liverpool in the group stage; Lacroix played the entire 90 minutes in both Sion's games against the Reds, a 1-1 draw and a 0-0 draw.

Soon he could be facing Premier League sides on a regular basis, though it is unclear whether Sion are prepared to accept Everton's offer.
