Everton are due to hold talks with Steve Mandanda's agent tomorrow as they try to convince the goalkeeper to move to Goodison Park and sub Crystal Palace.

Mandanda is out of contract with French giants Marseille this summer and is expected to move on from the Stade Velodrome, with Palace having been tipped to be in the driving seat.

Alan Pardew's side have been trying to snap up the shot-stopper and have been in advanced talks, but Everton are putting in a strong tilt to take the France international to Merseyside.

According to French radio station RMC, Everton officials are due to hold talks with Mandanda's agent tomorrow, as they look to reach an agreement with the custodian.

Mandanda is currently on international duty with France at Euro 2016, where he serves as backup to current number 1 Hugo Lloris.

Everton are now bossed by Ronald Koeman, who is looking to make additions to the squad at Goodison Park.

But it remains to be seen whether Mandanda can be convinced to ignore Crystal Palace and move to Everton.

Mandanda has often been linked with a move to England to play in the Premier League and he may well land in the country this summer.
