Out-of-contract Liverpool teenager Jerome Sinclair has agreed to join Watford, who are paying £4m for his signature.

19-year-old Sinclair, who has failed to make an impact at Anfield, made only two FA Cup appearances for the Reds last season, scoring once against Exeter City, as Jurgen Klopp’s men finished eighth in the Premier League.

The youngster has now penned a five-year deal at Watford and the move comes after the expiration of his contract at Liverpool. However, as he is under 24 years old, his registration in the squad will come at the cost of a development fee from the Hornets.

Liverpool are due compensation for Sinclair, as the young Englishman is 19 and so the Reds are set to receive a fee in the region of £4m from Walter Mazzarri’s men, according to ITV.

Sinclair is a striker by trade and is a product of the famed Liverpool youth academy. He was drafted into the youth ranks at Anfield from West Brom.
