Leeds United target Kyle Bartley is currently in Leeds ahead of undergoing a medical with the Whites.

Garry Monk, who managed Bartley at previous club Swansea City, wants to be able to call upon Bartley at Elland Road, as he looks to reshape Leeds to his liking ahead of the new season.

New Whites head coach Monk picked Bartley for his final game in charge of Swansea and now wants the centre-back at Leeds.

The Yorkshire giants are rapidly closing on a loan deal to take the centre-back to Elland Road and according to the Yorkshire Evening Post, he is currently in Leeds.

The defender is poised to undergo a medical with the Whites on Friday and the deal has been tipped to be completed by the start of next week at the very latest.
