Antonio Conte is focusing on adding to his Chelsea squad following Italy's elimination from Euro 2016 and Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly is his first choice.

The now ex-Italy coach is desperate to sign another centre-back for Chelsea, as speculation over a 3-5-2 system at Stamford Bridge does the rounds.

The Blues have been linked with Koulibaly all summer, but their interest is now set to intensify following Conte's arrival, according to Sky Italia.

Koulibaly wants Napoli to hand him a vastly improved contract, or he will look at his options.

The player's agent has been in touch with Napoli to stress his client will assess his options, however it is claimed no new contract was discussed in the meeting.
