Former Manchester United winger Nani has joined Spanish giants Valencia on a three-year deal, with Los Che beating Stoke City to his signature.

The 29-year-old Portuguese star, who is part of the Portugal squad that has made it to the semi-final of Euro 2016, racked up nine assists and as many goals for Fenerbahce in the Turkish Super Lig last season.

Nani left Manchester United in 2014 when Louis van Gaal was in charge of the Old Trafford based club for a fee in the region of £4.25m, after spending a season on loan at Sporting Lisbon.

Stoke City assistant manager Mark Bowen confirmed on Monday that Mark Hughes’ men were interested in bringing the winger to Staffordshire, but Valencia have now sealed the deal.

Pako Ayestaran’s side have acquired Nani’s services for a £7.25m fee as the former Premier League winner's national side prepares to take on Wales in their Euro 2016 semi-final tonight.
