Inter are sticking firmly to their stance of refusing to sell Mauro Icardi, despite the striker being linked with Tottenham Hotspur and Atletico Madrid.

The Nerazzurri are aware of substantial interest in their hitman, who netted 16 times in all competitions for the club last term.

However, despite the potential for big money to be earned by selling the striker, Inter are continuing to insist that Icardi is not for sale this summer, according to Sky Italia.

Icardi's wife, Wanda Icardi, recently added fuel to the fire of talk her husband could be moving though when she tweeted: "transfer market".

The striker is locked down on a contract with Inter until the summer of 2019, putting the Italians in a strong position to dictate his future at the club.
