Liverpool are keeping a close watch on the Inter Milan midfield duo of Marcelo Brozovic and Gary Medel, according to Italian daily Tuttosport.

The Reds have signed three players this summer, and Augsburg defender Ragnar Klavan is set to become Jurgen Klopp’s fourth signing later this week after he undergoes a medical tomorrow.

Liverpool have also been linked with a move for Newcastle United midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum, but the Dutchman might not be only midfield arrival at Anfield this summer.

According to Tuttosport, Liverpool are closely tracking the Inter midfield duo of Brozovic and Medel and could make a move for either or both of them in the coming days.

The Nerazzurri are desperate to hold on to their top talents in the transfer window, but it has been suggested that both midfielders could be made available at a certain price.

It has been claimed that Inter value Medel at €15m, but Liverpool would have to shell out double that figure if they want to sign the Croatian Brozovic this summer.

Klopp is currently assessing his options in the Liverpool squad, and could sanction a move for the Inter duo soon.
