West Ham United supremo David Gold has vowed that no striker will be allowed to depart the club until a replacement has been secured, while stamping on suggestions the Hammers must sell to buy.

The Hammers are hunting a goalscorer this summer and had agreed a fee with AC Milan for Colombia international Carlos Bacca, only to see the striker reject the move as he wishes to only leave the San Siro to join a club in the Champions League.

They have been linked with a number of other strikers, including Juventus' Mario Mandzukic, while one of their own strikers in the shape of Enner Valencia is wanted by Lazio.

And co-chairman Gold has made clear that no strikers will be leaving West Ham until the club have secured a replacement.

Gold also took time to crush talk the Hammers may need to sell two players before they can bring in anyone.
