Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez is still on Juventus’ radar this summer as they look to provide fresh energy to their forward line.

The Italian champions are interested in signing a forward, and have a number of names on their shortlist who they are keen to pursue in the coming month or so.

Gonzalo Higuain remains a top target for the club, but Napoli’s insistence on not allowing the player to leave for a figure lower than his €94.7m release clause could scupper a deal.

Other than the Argentine, Juventus have also been on the trail of Arsenal star Sanchez, and according to Italian daily Tuttosport, the club are still hopeful of singing the Chilean this summer.

Arsenal are in no mood to sell the player, and are reportedly preparing a new contract for the Chilean to ward off interest in him from clubs such as Juventus.

However, the Italian champions are on the verge of concluding a world record deal to sell Paul Pogba to Manchester United, and will soon have the power to flex their financial muscle in the transfer market.

And there have also been suggestions that the former Udinese man could be interested in returning to Italy with Juventus if they can reach an agreement with Arsenal.

Sanchez has a contract until 2018 with the Gunners.
