Liverpool legend Gary McAllister believes Jurgen Klopp has assembled a big and powerful squad so far this summer.

Klopp's Reds have jetted out to the United States for a series of friendly matches and the Liverpool manager's squad has been strengthened by the arrival of players who were in action at Euro 2016.

The Reds are also benefiting from Klopp's work in the transfer market with Loris Karius, Joel Matip, Ragnar Klavan, Marko Grujic and Sadio Mane all having been added to the group, while Georginio Wijnaldum will link up with his new club soon.

Liverpool legend McAllister is with the squad in the United States in his role as a club ambassador and he is happy with what he has seen.

"Just in the little chats I've had with Jurgen I think he's happy with the way the new guys have settled in", the Scot said on LFC TV.
