Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri has declined to comment on Paul Pogba’s future at the club, but is happy with the way the Italian champions are conducting their business in the summer.

Manchester United have been in negotiations with Juventus for Pogba since last week, but are yet to reach any definitive agreement for his transfer to Old Trafford.

Juventus want a world record fee of €120m up front, but Manchester United’s latest offer stands at around €110m plus another €10m in performance based add-ons.

The Bianconeri are currently unwilling to move from their stated figure, but despite the furious speculation on Pogba’s future, Allegri refused to say a word on the status of the negotiations.

When asked about Pogba, the Juventus coach said in a press conference: “This is a subject I am not going to talk about.

“We are here [in Australia] to train and prepare for the new season; I can only say that in Turin the club are doing a fantastic job in the transfer market.”

Despite the disagreement, Manchester United are expected to finally take the deal over the line and Pogba is expected to become a Red Devil again this summer.

With personal terms agreed, the Premier League giants are confident of reaching an agreement with Juventus soon.
