Manchester United target James Rodriguez has expressed his desire to secure more game time at the Santiago Bernabeu in the coming season.

The 2014 FIFA World Cup Golden Boot winner has been heavily linked with a move away from Real Madrid this season with a number of Premier League clubs showing keen interest in securing the services of the player.

Besides Manchester United, Chelsea and West Ham have also been linked with a move for the Colombian.

Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane on his part has remained coy on the situation, refusing to give him any assurances about his position in the starting eleven, though stressing he remains "important" for the club.

The 25-year-old though is not giving up on his hope of playing for Los Blancos and insists that he will continue to fight for his place.
