Chelsea manager Antonio Conte is refusing to sell Juventus target Nemanja Matic and is keen to offer the player a chance to impress him next season.

The midfielder has been linked with a move away from Chelsea this summer, with speculation claiming that Manchester United enquired about the possibility of signing him.




However, the trail has gone cold over the last few weeks as Manchester United concentrated their efforts on signing Paul Pogba from Juventus, and it has been suggested that the Italian champions are the ones who are after the Chelsea midfielder.

There has been speculation that new Chelsea boss Conte is open to selling the 27-year-old this summer, but according to Tuttosport, the Italian coach is keen to provide an opportunity to Matic.
 


And it has been suggested that Conte is has changed tracks now and wants to keep the midfielder at Stamford Bridge for next season.
