PSV Eindhoven have revealed they are still waiting for a payment of €800,000 from Ukrainian giants Dynamo Kyiv over the transfer which took Jeremain Lens to Sunderland.

The Dutch giants sold Lens to Dynamo Kyiv in 2013 and as part of the deal a ten per cent sell-on clause was slapped into the agreement, with PSV keeping an eye on a potential future move for the Netherlands international.

Lens did move on from Dynamo Kyiv and joined Sunderland last summer, putting pen to paper on a four-year deal at the Stadium of Light.

PSV were waiting for the money to come through, but are still waiting for the majority of the cash to be paid.

"Kyiv do not bother paying", general director Toon Gerbrands told Dutch magazine Voetbal International.

"Supposedly because of the export regulation situations in the Ukraine.

"We have received a small part. We have therefore raised the matter with UEFA", the PSV official added.

Lens enjoyed success at Dynamo Kyiv, helping the club to the Ukrainian Cup in the 2013/14 campaign, while they then did a domestic double in the 2014/15 season, before he left for Sunderland.

Last term the former PSV man played his part in helping Sunderland avoid relegation from the Premier League.
