Leeds United are showing considerable interest in Carpi winger Raphael Martinho, a player the Whites have been linked with before.

The English giants were mooted as being keen on Martinho last summer, but the Brazilian wide-man swapped Catania for Carpi.

He has been tipped to be available again this summer and is already attracting interest from Bari; the club's sporting director signed the Brazilian for Hellas Verona earlier in his career.

Leeds are back in the picture too and hold serious interest in Martinho, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Whites have been in the market for a wide-man this summer and did show interest in another old target in the shape of Belgian Anthony Limbombe.

But Limbombe had his heart set on Club Brugge and joined the club from NEC Nijmegen recently.

Martinho has an EU passport and joined Catania in 2010 from Brazilian outfit Paulista.

Leeds have so far made six signings this summer as they look to shape a squad able to challenge for promotion to the Premier League.
