AC Milan and Roma have become the front runners to sign Simone Zaza after the Juventus striker knocked back offers from West Ham and Wolfsburg.

Zaza struggled to secure a starting berth in Massimiliano Allegri’s Juventus team last season, and with Gonzalo Higuain joining the club for big money, the Italian international’s job is only expected to get tougher next term.

The 25-year-old striker is considering offers to leave Juventus this summer, and has been in demand as a number of clubs across Europe are keen on snapping him up.

However, Zaza seems unlikely to leave Italy any time soon as according to Italian daily Corriere dello Sport, the forward has rejected offers from Wolfsburg and Premier League outfit West Ham.

Roma and AC Milan are believed to be the top contenders to sign Zaza from Juventus, with the Giallorossi slight favourites because of a better financial state than the Milanese giants.
