Fernando Llorente has rejected a move to Portuguese club Sporting Lisbon and could join Swansea City instead.

Sporting Lisbon were keen on snapping up the former Juventus man, but after considering a switch to Portugal, Llorente has knocked back the club's offer.

According to Sky Italia, Swansea are now Llorente's most likely destination as the Welsh giants look to replace Andre Ayew.

Swansea are poised to sell Ayew to West Ham and are eyeing Llorente to replace the former Marseille man.

Llorente, 31, only joined Sevilla last year from Italian champions Juventus and helped Los Rojiblancos to success in the Europa League, with the Spanish side beating Liverpool in the final in Switzerland.
