Paul Pogba has arrived in Manchester ahead of undergoing a medical with Manchester United, despite Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri insisting he expects him at training on Monday.

Manchester United have thrashed out an agreement with Juventus for Pogba, while the France international has also agreed personal terms. But ironing out the final details of what would be a world record transfer has taken time.

Allegri insists Pogba is a Juventus player and is expected to report for training on Monday.

But the Frenchman will not be there as, according to Italian daily Gazzetta dello Sport, he has secretly flown to Manchester.

Manchester United have kept his arrival top secret, ensuring that no photographs could be taken of the midfielder, as they prepare to put him through his medical paces on Sunday.
