Stoke City and Fiorentina are on the trail of midfielder Abdou-Aziz Thiam, who could leave Monaco this summer.

The 19-year-old has just a year left on his contract with Ligue 1 giants Monaco and as a result the principality outfit are ready to offload him for an acceptable fee.

And there is interest in Thiam as, according to French magazine France Football, Stoke City and Fiorentina are alive to his potential.

A product of Monaco's youth set-up, Thiam has been capped by France at Under-19 level.

The 19-year-old, who operates as a defensively minded midfielder, has played his football for Monaco in their youth ranks.
