Leeds United are still looking to strengthen their attacking options before the transfer window closes, but a swoop for Jordan Rhodes is off the table.

The Whites have already brought in ten new players this summer as chairman Massimo Cellino looks to give head coach Garry Monk the tools to fashion a promotion bid in the Championship.

However, Monk is not yet satisfied with his squad and is eyeing further signings.

According to Radio Yorkshire, Leeds are still chasing a player to reinforce their attacking options, but that man will not be Middlesbrough's Rhodes.

It has been suggested that Rhodes' wages mean any potential switch to Elland Road is not on the table.
