Chelsea are insisting on including an obligatory purchase clause in any agreement with Juventus for Juan Cuadrado.

Despite Antonio Conte wanting him to stay at Chelsea, Cuadrado wants to return to Italy this summer, and Juventus have been pushing to agree a deal with the west Londoners.

His agent, Alessandro Lucci, has held multiple rounds of talks with Juventus and Chelsea to finalise an agreement, and was in London on Wednesday for further discussions with the Blues.

Juventus have so far proposed an initial loan deal for a fee of around €5m, and want an option to make the move permanent at the end of the season.

However, according to Italian broadcaster Premium Sport, Chelsea have revealed a new demand for Cuadrado’s departure, and want to insert an obligatory purchase option into any agreement with the Italian champions.
