The draw for the group stage of the 2016/17 Champions League has been held and there are a number of thrilling games in prospect.

Tottenham Hotspur's reward for managing a third place finish in the Premier League last term is to be placed in a group alongside Russian champions CSKA Moscow, Bundesliga outfit Bayer Leverkusen and Ligue 1 side Monaco.
 



Meanwhile, German champions Bayern Munich, now coached by Carlo Ancelotti, find themselves alongside Atletico Madrid, PSV Eindhoven and FC Rostov.

Leicester City, the English champions and a side from pot 1 in the draw, take their place in a group with FC Porto, Club Brugge and Danish giants FC Copenhagen.
 


Fellow English side Arsenal, with the experienced Arsene Wenger in charge, will take on French champions Paris Saint-Germain, Swiss outfit Basel and Bulgarian side Ludogorets Razgrad.

Pep Guardiola's Manchester City face a group with Catalan giants Barcelona, German side Borussia Monchengladbach, along with Brendan Rodgers' Celtic side.
