Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is keeping tight-lipped over talk that he has slapped in an £11m bid for 17-year-old Borussia Dortmund winger Christian Pulisic.

Klopp took the American international to Dortmund during his spell in charge of the Ruhr giants and is now thought to want a reunion with the wide-man.

With time ticking down on the transfer window, all eyes are on whether Klopp improves his squad before the deadline, but the German is not willing to be drawn on suggestions Liverpool have bid for Pulisic.

"No transfer rumours. I have no comment for this and absolutely nothing to speak about", Klopp told a press conference when asked about Pulisic.

"And in all the other cases too", the German continued.

"When we know something and are close to doing something then we will inform you – or a little bit later."

Pulisic is also on Stoke City's radar, with talk the Potters have also made a move to try to tempt Dortmund into selling the youngster.

However, Dortmund coach Thomas Tuchel is a big fan of the winger, who has made rapid progress since he linked up with the Bundesliga giants, and the club are likely to fight hard to keep hold of him.

It remains to be seen whether money will talk before the window slams shut on Wednesday night.
