Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino is consulting with his contacts in France over a loan move for Manchester City outcast Eliaquim Mangala. 

The 25-year-old French defender has been frozen out of the first team squad by Pep Guardiola this season, and he may not be at the Etihad come 1st September.




Napoli and Porto have been in talks with the player’s entourage over a transfer, and even AC Milan have kept close tabs on the situation regarding the France international.

However, Mangala could still be playing Premier League football this season as according to French sports daily L’Equipe, Tottenham have entered the transfer mix for the Frenchman.
 


Tottenham boss Pochettino has been seeking information on Mangala from his French contacts, and is pondering over a late swoop for the France international in the final week of the transfer window.
