Hull City are rapidly closing in on the signatures of Manchester United's Will Keane and Tottenham Hotspur's Ryan Mason.

The Tigers are desperate to get deals over the line before the transfer window slams shut on Wednesday evening and have zeroed in on Keane and Mason.

And the Premier League new boys are close on adding both forward Keane and midfielder Mason, according to the Hull Daily Mail.

The pair are expected to bolster caretaker manager Mike Phelan's options, with the aim of helping Hull build on their positive start to the campaign.

Mason, a product of Spurs' youth set-up, has been sent out on a series of loan spells and counts Yeovil Town, Doncaster Rovers, Millwall, Lorient and Swindon Town.

Keane meanwhile looks unlikely to feature for the first team at Manchester United this season and the forward is a player Phelan knows well from his time at Old Trafford.
