Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart’s agent has confirmed that his client will undergo a medical with Torino today, ahead of his move to Italy.

Hart has found himself tumbling down the pecking order of goalkeepers at Manchester City this season, after being the club's number one for a number of years.

The England number one made his last appearance for Manchester City last week in a Champions League qualifier against Steaua Bucharest, and is on his way out of the Etihad ahead of tomorrow’s transfer deadline.

Sunderland were interested in snapping up the 29-year-old shot-stopper, but it seems Torino have clinched a deal to sign him on a season-long loan deal from Manchester City.

His agent, Jonathan Barnett, revealed that a deal has been agreed, and Hart will undergo a medical with Torino later today, before finalising his switch from Manchester City.

Hart’s agent told Tuttosport: “Yes, Joe Hart will play at Torino, the deal is done.

“The goalkeeper has said yes to the club, and Manchester City have also given the green light.

“Yes, it is all true, and he will have a medical tomorrow [Tuesday] in Turin.”

Hart helped Manchester City to two Premier League titles, but under Pep Guardiola he saw his stock fall rapidly, which has prompted him to move to Italy.
