Leeds United's loan move for Bournemouth midfielder Eunan O'Kane could be back on after it stalled earlier today.

Whites head coach Garry Monk is a big fan of the Republic of Ireland international and wants to add him to his squad at Elland Road before the transfer window closes.

The deal hit a brick wall earlier today, but according to the Yorkshire Evening Post, O'Kane's move could be back on.

Leeds have had a quiet deadline day so far, despite the fact that Monk has called for further signings to be made.

The Whites are also focusing on bringing in a striker, but have yet to announce a deal and the clock is ticking.

Leeds have so far brought in ten players this summer, but Monk feels further bodies are needed, especially in light of the fact there is no longer an emergency loan window.

It remains to be seen whether the Whites can get a deal for O'Kane over the line.
