Paris Saint-Germain defender David Luiz is currently on his way to London to complete a shocking return to Chelsea on transfer deadline day.

Chelsea sold the Brazilian to PSG in 2014 for an eye popping transfer fee, but it seems they are set to pay another huge fee to get him back from the French champions today. .

PSG reportedly knocked back Chelsea’s initial offer of €40m last night, and there were suggestions that they are in no mood to see Luiz leave the club on deadline day.

However, Chelsea continued to hold talks with the Parisians, and are said to have tabled an improved offer in order to convince PSG to sell the 29-year-old defender.

And it seems an agreement is close as according to French daily Le Parisien, Luiz took a train to London earlier this afternoon from the French capital, in order to complete his proposed return to Chelsea.
