Former Netherlands international Youri Mulder feels that Belgium's attackers will learn a lot from new assistant coach Thierry Henry.

The Arsenal legend has been appointed an assistant coach to coach Roberto Martinez and will be looking to polish the country's strikers on the training pitch, while also offering advice to the former Everton manager.

Mulder thinks that Belgium's strikers, Michy Batshuayi and Romelu Lukaku, along with forward Eden Hazard, will especially soak up Henry's advice and can become better players for it.

He told Fan: "You may be wondering what he can bring as an assistant to the already talented Red Devils.

"Well, I was also an assistant at FC Twente and I worked with the strikers, so I can offer some insight", Mulder continued.

"I say, of course Hazard, Lukaku and Batshuayi can learn a lot from such a player."

And he explained he means "the details, doing everything at full speed inside the 16, finishing with the inside of the foot."

Henry will also be looking to learn from his coaching experience as he builds his career in the dugout following his retirement.

The 39-year-old has been tipped as a future Arsenal manager, but Henry has yet to manage a senior side.

He is combining his new post as Belgium assistant coach with his existing television duties, where he works as a pundit for Sky Sports.
