Former Feyenoord striker Jon Dahl Tomasson is keen to see Zlatan Ibrahimovic play for Manchester United tomorrow night in Rotterdam, even if just for a few minutes.

Manchester United will take on Feyenoord in the opening game of their Europa League campaign at De Kuip, and Jose Mourinho is expected to play a youthful side in the Netherlands.

The Manchester United boss has already indicated that Marcus Rashford will get his first start of the season, and Ibrahimovic is expected to be rested against their Dutch opponents.

However, Tomasson, a former Feyenoord striker, is keen for the veteran striker to get some playing time as he wants to see the legendary Swede in action.

The 40-year-old told Dutch daily De Telegraaf: “I am very curious to see Feyenoord, and it would be great if Zlatan plays some minutes.
