Manchester United have confirmed their starting team and substitutes to take on Northampton Town in an away EFL Cup tie this evening.
Jose Mourinho's men head into the fixture having lost their last three games in a row in all competitions and the Portuguese will be keen for his men to turn the tide tonight against lower league opposition.
In a bid to get the job done against the Cobblers at Sixfields, Mourinho chooses to go with captain Wayne Rooney up front, with Ashley Young and Memphis Depay offering support. Ander Herrera and Michael Carrick will look to boss possession, while Morgan Schneiderlin protects the back four. Chris Smalling and Daley Blind are the central defensive pairing.
Sergio Romero is between the sticks, while off the bench Mourinho can call for Zlatan Ibrahimovic if needed. Marcus Rashford, Juan Mata and Jesse Lingard are all other attacking options for the Portuguese to call for.
