Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is not too worried about keeping every attacker in his squad happy and is pleased to have so many options available to him.

With players such as Daniel Sturridge, Roberto Firmino, Philippe Coutinho, Adam Lallana and Divock Origi to choose from in his squad, Klopp has dabbled with his attacking options this season.

Sturridge has already been left out of the starting eleven this season, and even Coutinho has warmed the bench, with Origi struggling to break into the starting eleven.

With forwards being juggled around, there have been fears that some might feel unnerved, with Sturridge already voicing his concerns about being played on the flanks earlier in the season.

However, Klopp doesn’t see it as his problem and insisted that it’s not possible for him to keep each player happy every day, claiming that performance is the only yardstick for his team selections.

The German also believes that more than it being a problem, the embarrassment of riches in his squad in terms of attackers is a luxury.

He said in a press conference: “It’s not a problem.

“If the expectation that every player should be happy every day then I’ll know before the season I can’t do it; it’s the player’s problem, not mine.

“You have to perform on the pitch. You have to perform on the bench. You can perform in training.

“If you have a problem that a few more players are more fit than you need then that is not a problem, that is a luxury.”

Liverpool are currently sixth in the Premier League table, and will host Hill City at Anfield on Saturday.
