Bristol City first team coach John Pemberton is confident that his star striker Tammy Abraham will be available for tonight’s clash against Leeds United at Ashton Gate.

A product of the Chelsea academy, the young striker joined the Championship outfit on loan for the season in the summer, and has taken to senior football like a duck to water.

Setting the youth football scene on fire with Chelsea, the 18-year-old forward has also made a blistering start to the season for Bristol City, scoring ten goals in all competition thus far in 12 appearances.

He received a knock against Fulham in a 4-0 win on Saturday, in a game where he again scored, and was considered doubtful for the game against Leeds United tonight.

However, the Bristol City coach is quietly confident that his side will have his in-form striker up and ready for an in-form Leeds United.

Pemberton told Bristol City Player HD: “Tammy should be ok.

“He took a heavy whack at Fulham, but we’re hoping to have him available to us.”

Leeds have not conceded a goal for three-games running, but are expected to face a stiff test at Ashton Gate should Abraham be at his best tonight.
