Leeds United head coach Garry Monk is expecting his side to become better in attack in the next few weeks and months.

Leeds’ four-game winning run came to a halt on Tuesday night, when Bristol City narrowly defeated them at Ashton Gate, despite the Yorkshire giants putting in a good performance.

Monk’s men have looked more assured in their performances this month, and their miserly defence has played a key role in helping Leeds drag themselves out of a run of bad form.

The Leeds boss feels his team should have remained undefeated this month, but has already acknowledged that his side need to make better decisions in the final third and become more clinical.

However, with his side’s performance trajectory on the up, he is confident that with time the attack, like the defence, will become better, as he urged Leeds to push on for the rest of the season.

Monk said in a press conference: "I think we should be undefeated in this month if I'm honest.

"It was always going to take time, but now you are seeing the confidence and if we carry on it can lead to success.

"I think offensively we are going to get better.

"We have to try and push on now.”
