The young midfielder has been included in the Scotland Under-21 squad for fixtures against Iceland and Macedona over the international break.

Burt is relishing the chance to get involved with the Under-21s, having previously represented Scotland at Under-16, Under-17 and Under-19 level.

Burt is a product of Rangers' youth system and progressed through the ranks to make his senior debut for the club last season.

The young midfielder, who has been tipped for big things, made his bow in a Scottish Championship match against Raith Rovers.

Burt is locked down on a contract with Rangers until the summer of 2018.

He will no doubt be hoping to gain further experience at international level to take back to Ibrox as he looks to push for further first team starts for the Gers.
