Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho wants to know more about his squad, and learn more about the players.

After a three-game losing streak last month, Manchester United won their following three games, and have recovered some lost ground both in the Premier League and Europa League.

While not overly impressive, Manchester United dominated Zorya Luhansk in their 1-0 win on Thursday night, and are favourites to beat an out-of-form Stoke City at Old Trafford on Sunday.

With Mourinho opting to play fringe players in the cup competitions so far, the Manchester United manager admits that he is learning more and more about his squad.

However, he wants to provide even more opportunities to the squad players to learn more about their ability and what they can add to his team.

Mourinho told the club’s official website: "Every game I know more about my players, especially the ones that are on the pitch.

“Obviously I would like to have other players playing more so I can see more and learn more about them.”

Manchester United are currently sixth in the league table on 12 points, six points off Premier League leaders Manchester City.
