AS Monaco coach Leonardo Jardim is unhappy at Djibril Sidibe, who snubbed an offer from Arsenal in the summer, suggesting that he could leave the club at the end of the season.

The French full-back revealed earlier this week that he came close to joining Premier League giants Arsenal before deciding to move to the Stade Louis II from Lille.

Sidibe further added that he is attracted towards playing in the Premier League and suggested that he could leave Monaco for a club in England at the end of the season.

Monaco coach Jardim is not pleased to hear that his summer signing is already planning a move away from the club and insisted that the final decision on the player’s future will be made by the principality outfit.

Jardim was quoted as saying by French magazine Le 10 Sport: “I don’t know what he said directly.

“What is a problem is that the player is saying that he will be here for just one year.

“That’s a decision for the club to make, not the player.”

Sidibe has already made ten appearances for Monaco this season, including five in the Champions League, and has a contract until 2021 with the club.
