Leeds United forward Kemar Roofe feels that Garry Monk got his tactics spot on away at Wolves on Saturday, as the Whites claimed a 1-0 win and all three Championship points.

The only goal of the game came in the 70th minute with Hadi Sacko delivering a delicious cross from the wing which Roofe pushed to score, but which was ultimately put down as an own goal.

It was enough for Leeds to end a run of two games without a win and pick up all three points – and Roofe feels that Monk must take a slice of credit as he got his tactics spot on.

Roofe told BBC Radio Leeds: "It's always going to be a tough place to come.

"They are a fast and physical team and can get results as well – they are in form at the moment", the forward continued.

"It's a good away performance. We set up correctly and got the result."

Leeds are now sitting pretty in tenth spot in the Championship table on 20 points from 14 games and only three points off the playoff spots.

And Monk's men are only eight points outside the automatic promotion places, something which will surely cause the Leeds fans to dream.

Next up for Leeds is a visit from Norwich City in the EFL Cup on Tuesday night.
