Chelsea manager Antonio Conte is hoping to see Kurt Zouma soon as the defender gradually bids to return to the first team squad in the coming weeks.

The 21-year-old defender has been out of action since February due to a serious knee injury and is hoping to return to playing first team football after recovering from the setback.

Zouma recently turned out for Chelsea Under-23s as he gradually returns to playing football and Conte has revealed that there have been no adverse physical reactions after his first taste of action in months.

The Chelsea manager is keen to see the defender return to the pitch with the first team soon and further indicated that Zouma has also returned to training with the first team squad.

On Zouma’s recovery, the Italian said in a press conference: “I hope to see him very, very soon.
