Leeds United manager Garry Monk has revealed that defender Lewie Coyle will be out for a few weeks with a knee injury.

The young defender suffered the setback during Leeds’ EFL Cup win over Norwich City on Tuesday night and had to hobble off the pitch towards the end of regulation time at Elland Road.

Coyle’s injury has been assessed over the last couple of days and Monk admits that the defender will be out of action, with his fellow team-mate Tyler Denton also ruled out after suffering an ankle injury.

The Leeds boss is still not sure whether Stuart Dallas will be back in the squad for Burton Albion’s trip to Elland Road on Saturday, but revealed that playmaker Pablo Hernandez is back in training and is available for selection.

Monk told LUTV: "Lewie Coyle has a knee injury and will be out for a few weeks, along with Tyler Denton who has an ankle injury.
