Everton are back in for Napoli striker Manolo Gabbiadini, but face opposition for the striker's signature from Wolfsburg and Valencia.

The Toffees were keen on Gabbiadini in the summer transfer window, but Napoli's president Aurelio De Laurentiis opted to block his departure, keeping him in Italy.

Gabbiadini could well leave in the winter window though and is again attracting interest from several clubs.

According to Italian broadcaster Premium Sport, Everton, Valencia and Wolfsburg are all interested in Gabbiadini and could move for him in the new year.

So far this season the 24-year-old has made 12 appearances for Napoli, across Serie A and the Champions League, scoring two goals.

Gabbiadini had been concerned in the summer about a lack of playing time at Napoli, which he suffered last term. This season the hitman has not completed 90 minutes once for the Italian giants.

Indeed, Gabbiadini has started just six of the 12 games he has featured in for Maurizio Sarri's men in the current campaign.
