Juventus are not likely to participate in an auction for highly-rated young Swedish striker Alexander Isak after Arsenal joined the race for his services.

Isak, who only turned 17 years old in September, has been labelled the "new Zlatan Ibrahimovic" and is attracting admiring glances from a whole host of European giants.

Juventus were keen on the striker, however following Arsenal's entry into the race, coupled with other sides chasing Isak, they are unlikely to become involved in a bidding war, according to Italian outlet Calcio Mercato.

Isak turns out for AIK in his native Sweden and helped the club to a finish of second in the Allsvenskan this year.

The Swedish side are unlikely to be able to keep hold of Isak for the long term and bids are expected to flood in for the striker soon.

Juventus have been keen to win the race for Isak, but a bidding auction is something the Serie A champions are not interested in becoming involved in.

And AIK are hoping to see a whole host of clubs competing against each other for the 17-year-old, which would drive his asking price up.

Liverpool have also been linked with Isak.
