Torino have contacted Manchester City over extending Joe Hart’s loan deal until 2018, according to Italian sports daily Tuttosport.

The England international, who lost his place in Manchester City’s starting line-up to Willy Caballero under new boss Pep Guardiola, fell further down the pecking order at the Etihad Stadium after the Citizens decided to bring in Chilean goalkeeper Claudio Bravo from Barcelona in the summer.

As a result, Hart decided to join Torino on a season-long loan deal during the summer transfer window in search of more playing time.

The 29-year-old has thus far made 11 Serie A appearances for Torino, keeping three clean sheets.

And it has been claimed that Torino are interested in extending Hart’s loan deal by a further year, with the Italian outfit having already contacted Manchester City regarding the matter.
