Former PSV Eindhoven manager Aad de Mos believes the Dutch outfit must sign up Manchester City loanee Oleksandr Zinchenko on a permanent contract if they have the option.

The young Ukrainian attacking midfielder joined Manchester City from Russian outfit FK Ufa last summer and was immediately loaned out to PSV for the rest of the season.

The 19-year-old midfielder has been a revelation for PSV this season and has added much needed creativity to Phillip Cocu’s side. He has even been deployed on the wings in some games, which shows his versatile nature as a footballer.

De Mos has been mightily impressed by Zinchenko’s performances this season in the PSV shirt and has advised his former club to snap him up on a permanent deal if they have the option.

The Dutchman feels that the youngster has the potential to provide much joy to the club’s fans for years to come if PSV can get him on a permanent basis.

De Mos told PSV TV: “I don’t know if there is an option to buy, but I would sign him up today.

“With him, PSV and their fans would have a lot of fun.

"The much needed creativity has come from Zinchenko.”

Zinchenko has clocked up ten appearances in all competitions for PSV this season and is also a full Ukraine international with ten caps to his name.
