Pontus Jansson has urged Leeds United to continue step by step after they moved up to a lofty fourth place in the Championship table.

The Sweden international played his part as Leeds beat Aston Villa 2-0 at Elland Road on Saturday, ending Villa's unbeaten run under new manager Steve Bruce.

As a result Garry Monk's men hit fourth spot in the table, increasing expectations amongst Leeds fans that their side may well be able to challenge for automatic promotion this term.

Jansson was delighted to take all htree points from the Villa game, but has urged the Whites to take it one game at a time.
