Young midfielder Ismael Bennacer has revealed there is an elite group amongst the youngsters at Arsenal, who virtually train with the senior squad to speed up their development.

Bennacer was snapped up by Arsenal from hometown club Arles-Avignon in 2015 and saw himself quickly fast-tracked towards a senior club debut as he came off the bench in the League Cup against Sheffield Wednesday.

The Algerian has however been restricted to Under-23 appearances in the current campaign and as a result has been linked with a loan switch away from the Gunners in the winter window.

But Bennacer is enjoying life at Arsenal and is loving the opportunity to work under boss Arsene Wenger, who he feels can teach him a whole host of new skills.

He told Le Buteur: "At Arsenal I belong to a group called elite that practically train with the professional group.
