Kasper Dolberg’s agent has revealed that his client, who has been linked with Everton and Manchester City, will remain at Ajax for the time being despite interest from big European clubs.

The 19-year-old striker has been making an impression since breaking into the Ajax senior squad recently and scored a hat-trick against NEC Nijmegen in the Dutch Eredivisie last month.

He has also scored two goals in the Europa League this season and his exploits with the Dutch giants have attracted interest from a few big wigs of European football, with a Manchester City scout recently revealing that the club have been tracking Dolberg’s progress, while Everton have been widely linked.

Italian giants Juventus, Napoli and AC Milan are also keenly following his performances for Ajax, but Jens Steffensen, the Dane’s agent, insisted that for the time being the striker will remain at Ajax.

He told Sport/Voetbalmagazine: “It doesn’t make sense to sit on the bench of a big European club.
